Actor Soori<\/a> has once again shown his admiration for women and their role in shaping families and society. The actor recently attended an award ceremony in Chennai, where he had the honour of presenting an award to an IAS officer. His remarks at the event highlighted the sacrifices women make and the important role they play in the lives of those around them.<\/p>\n

Soori\u2019s powerful statement on women and success<\/h2>\n<\/p>\n

Speaking at the event, Soori said that no success in life is truly complete without the support of a woman. \u201cGenerally, there is no success in a person\u2019s life that is complete without a woman. She could be a mother, wife, sister or daughter. Women are the strength that holds our hand and pushes us forward,\u201d he said as reported by Filmibeat. He further noted that when a woman rises, her achievement goes beyond her own success.<\/p>\n

Soori praises women for raising families and children<\/h2>\n<\/p>\n

Soori also spoke about the struggles women face while raising children and building their families. \u201cWomen go through a lot of difficulties to give birth to children, raise them and help them become responsible individuals. It is equal to serving in the army,\u201d he said. The actor also shared a light-hearted thought about the importance of wives, saying, \u201cPeople usually say that the wife comes after God. But I would say God comes after the wife.\u201d He also admitted that he had sometimes felt bad about not studying much, but said presenting an award to an IAS officer made him extremely happy.<\/p>\n

Soori\u2019s upcoming ‘Mandadi<\/keyword>‘ and next film with Ravikumar<\/h2>\n<\/p>\n

On the work front, Soori currently has ‘Mandadi’ in his line-up. The film is scheduled to hit theatres on September 10. After this project, the actor is set to join hands with director R Ravikumar, who is known for helming Ayalaan. Soori has been exploring a variety of roles in recent years and has steadily moved beyond comedy to take on more performance-oriented characters.
