Suriya<\/a>, who enjoys a strong fan base in the Telugu states, was among the special guests at the event. His words about the film, director Venky Atluri<\/a> and the young cast added a warm touch to the celebrations.<\/p>\n Suriya\u2019s speech became one of the evening’s highlights when he spoke about Mamitha Baiju\u2019s journey in cinema. Praising her growth, he said, \u201cWithout having any background, when you believe in yourself, you can be here. Mamitha is here now. She started as a junior artist kid and has now taken centre stage in Vishwanath & Sons.\u201d His words left Mamitha visibly emotional on stage. Suriya also thanked actor Madhavan for the character he played, saying, \u201cThank you for Maddy. You have made the character timeless for us.\u201d<\/p>\n Suriya also spoke about his long connection with Telugu audiences and thanked fans for their continued support. \u201cNamaskaram to all my fans and their families across both Telugu states. You have showered immense love on me for the past 28 years, and I am here today because of that love,\u201d he said. He praised producer Naga Vamsi, director Venky Atluri and Trivikram Srinivas for their contribution to the project. Suriya also highlighted the work of music composer GV Prakash Kumar, cinematographer Nimis, art director Banglan and editor Naveen. Recalling his time in Hyderabad, he said the six months he spent there were very special to him.<\/p>\n ‘Vishwanath And Sons’ marks another important Telugu project for Suriya and has generated attention ahead of its theatrical release. Suriya also recalled the love he received from Telugu audiences for ‘Ghajini’ and ‘Suriya S\/O Krishnan,’ and expressed hope that the new film would receive a similar response.Directed by Venky Atluri and backed by Naga Vamsi, the film features Suriya, Mamitha Baiju and Radhika among others.
