George Clooney<\/a> and his wife, Amal Clooney, tend to keep away from the public eye for the most part. The duo is known to value their privacy and shield their twins, Ella and Alexander, from the paparazzi. However, the family of four recently attended a charitable event together, giving a rare glimpse into their everyday life.<\/p>\n

Recently, the \u2018Ocean\u2019s 11\u2019 actor and his wife attended a charitable event, accompanied by their 8-year-old twins, Ella and Alexander. Held on Italy’s Lake Como shores, the benefit was connected to Clooney\u2019s own non-profit organisation.Hola! Hola! reported that the couple arrived at the venue via a private boat and hosted guests at their iconic Villa Passalacqua on August 10. For the event, George was photographed wearing a classic all-grey suit set with a white button-up. Amal, on the other hand, looked stunning in a beautiful black bodycon dress. The dress had thin straps and featured some colourful floral embroidery across the waist, adding a much-needed pop to the neutral fit. She accessorised by keeping her hair down and wearing chunky black sunglasses. The couple was seen arriving at the venue with their twins; Ella sported a tiered gold dress while Alexander wore a light-colored blazer set.The event promoted Clooney\u2019s non-profit\u2019s ongoing work and brought together like-minded philanthropists and supporters. The organisation provides legal aid to human rights initiatives in more than 40 countries.<\/p>\n

Over the years, the actor has shared on multiple occasions how and why he wants his children sheltered from Hollywood and to grow away from the limelight. During an old interview with Esquire, the actor shared that they live on a farm and like the privacy their property brings them. He added, \u201cYou know, we live on a farm in France. A good portion of my life growing up was on a farm, and as a kid, I hated the whole idea of it. But now, for them, it\u2019s like\u2014they’re not on their iPads, you know?\u201dAs to why he keeps them away from Hollywood? The actor shared, \u201cI was worried about raising our kids in LA, in the culture of Hollywood. I felt like they were never going to get a fair shake at life.\u201d He detailed how he wishes for them to have normal lives and not care about fame and all of the other things that come with it. He revealed that his children are responsible for their chores and lead a much better life out on the farm.<\/div>\n
