Many social media users asked why she was not choosing to be a biological mother now as she was already engaged to her college sweetheart.Leigh Ann Caldwell, Puck News\u2019 chief Washington correspondent, revealed that a \u201creputable Democratic source\u201d told her about 18 months ago that Ocasio-Cortez and her partner Riley Roberts had ended their engagement. \u201cAOC stopped wearing her engagement ring several months before that,\u201d Caldwell wrote on X Tuesday. \u201cThere have been no public photos of her and Riley together in recent history.\u201dLast photograph around 2021-22Ocasio-Cortez and Roberts were last photographed together at the 2021 Met Gala, according to TMZ. Months later, in May 2022, the congresswoman confirmed that she and Roberts were engaged. Both of them kept the relationship private.Ocasio-Cortez and Roberts met at Boston University when they were both 19.
